and Conditions
Interpretation
In these Terms and Conditions ( Terms ), the
following words and phrases shall have the following
meanings:
"the Buyer" means the person, firm
or company who purchases the Goods from the
Company;
"the Company" means Glass Block Technology Ltd. trading as Glass Block Outlet;
"Contract" means the contract between
the Company and the Buyer which shall be deemed
to incorporate these Terms;
"Goods" means any goods agreed in
the Contract to be supplied by the Company to
the Buyer;
"Place of Delivery" means the place
to which the Goods are to be delivered.
In these Terms, references to any statute or
statutory provision shall be constructed as
a reference to such statute or statutory provision
as amended, modified, re-enacted or replaced
from time-to-time.
The Contract
The Contract shall be on these Terms to the
exclusion of all other terms and conditions,
including any such terms and conditions that
are purported to be included or applied by the
Buyer.
No terms and conditions contained in the confirmation
of order, purchase or other document of the
Buyer will form part of the Contract.
The Company is registered in England. Unless
otherwise specified, the materials on this site
are directed solely at those who access this
site from the United Kingdom mainland. The Company
makes no representation that any product referred
to in the materials on this site is appropriate
for use, or available, in other locations. Those
who choose to access this site from other locations
are responsible for compliance with local laws
if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
English law shall govern this Contract.
Prices and Payment
The prices for Goods displayed for sale on this
site are as set out on the site. Delivery will be charged in addition,
and any such charges are clearly displayed where
they apply. Prices and delivery charges displayed
are valid and effective only in the United Kingdom.
The Company cannot accept the Buyers order
until the Buyer has paid for it in full (including
applicable delivery charges). Upon payment,
the Company will confirm acceptance of the Buyers
order by e-mail which will be sent to the e-mail
address the Buyer provides on their order details.
Whether or not the Buyer receives the e-mail,
the Companies acceptance of the Buyers order
will create a legally binding contract between
each other.
Credit and Debit cards are debited before items
are shipped by the Company.
Delivery
The Company endeavour to deliver the the Goods
to the Buyer within 5 working days. The period
stated within which the Buyer will receive their
order is approximate. Please note that the Goods
may be sent to the Buyer in instalments.
Subject to the other provisions of these Terms,
the Company shall not be liable for any loss,
whether direct or consequential, economic or
loss of profits or otherwise, arising directly
or indirectly out of any delay in the delivery
of the Goods nor will any delay entitle the
Buyer to terminate or rescind the Contract unless
the delay exceeds 60 days. However, unless the
Company have agreed a longer period for delivery
with the Buyer, the Company will either deliver
the Goods within thirteen days of the Buyer
placing the order or the Company will let the
Buyer know as soon as it will not be possible
to meet this obligation. If the Company do let
the Buyer know then the Company will either
agree a new time for delivery or, at the Buyers
request, refund any monies paid by the Buyer
in respect of the delayed Goods.
Exchange, Refunds and Cancellations
If the Buyers Goods are incorrect, faulty or
damaged on delivery the Company will exchange
the product or issue a full refund to the Buyer
including delivery charges.

or by contacting Tel:
07970 753 920. The Buyer may withdraw from
the Contract at any time after the Goods have
been dispatched and the Buyer has received the
Companies email confirming the Buyers order
but no later than 5 working days from the day
after the Buyer receives the Goods by:
a) Sending the notice of cancellation by email
to info@glassblockoutlet.co.uk
ensuring that the Buyer quotes their name, address
and order reference number;
and/or
b) Notice of cancellation by contacting Tel: 07970 753 920 ensuring that
the Buyer quotes their name, address and order
reference number;
The Company will then arrange with the Buyer
to refund the purchase price of the goods and
return of the Goods to the Company. We will
refund monies less the re-stocking fee (30%
of total order price), delivery/return costs
and any admin charges which will be itemised.
Goods must be returned within 4 weeks of purchase.
Warranties
The Company warrants that the Goods are of satisfactory
quality.
If the Buyer wishes to make a claim under this
warranty, the Buyer shall give written notice
to the Company within 30 days of the discovery
of the defect and give the Company a reasonable
opportunity to inspect the Goods in question.
The Company shall not be liable for any breach
of warranty if the Buyer makes any further use
of the Goods after giving such notice or alters
or repairs the Goods without the agreement of
the Company.
Force Majeure
If either party is subject to an event of Force
Majeure, that is circumstances outside its reasonable
control, including but not limited to war, fire,
industrial disputes or civil commotion, it shall
notify the other and the first party's obligations
under these Terms shall be suspended until it
notifies the other party of the end of such
event of Force Majeure.
General
The Company cannot guarantee that the appearance
and/or colours of products shown on this site
exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours
of the physical products themselves.
Before working with the Goods the Buyer should
always consult an appropriate professional.
To the extent permitted by law, the Company
accepts no liability for any loss, damage or
injury arising as a consequence of the advice
provided.
These Terms and any contract between the Company
and the Buyer shall be governed by and construed
in accordance with English law and the English
Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes
between us.
The Buyer agrees that e-mail can be used as
a long-distance means of communication.
The Company does not accept liability for any
indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data,
loss of income or profit, loss of damage to
property and/or loss from claims of third parties
arising out of the use of the Company website
or for any Goods purchased from the Company.
The Company will only be liable for direct
loss up to a maximum total of the price of the
Goods purchased in respect of any claim.
These Terms shall apply when the Company accepts
the Buyers order by e-mail confirming that it
has received payment in full for all the Goods
the Buyer has ordered.
The Buyer is advised to read (and are responsible
for reading) all information on this website
fully.
If any of these terms are held to be invalid
or unenforceable, those terms will be struck
out and the other terms remain.
Goods weighing over 100kg will be delivered
as pallets.
