Unsure of which glass block fixing system to use? Read the suggestions below.
- For straight indoor features we recommend the Easifix System
- For curved walls, exterior walls or walls exposed to moisture
we recommend the Rods & Mortar System.
- For shower units, the Easifix
System may be used. Joints must be finished/grouted
with glass block mortar to assist in repelling moisture.
- For more information about curved walls please download
the following datasheet (you will require Adobe
Reader to view the files):
- When using Rods & Mortar System, if the height or
width of the panel exceeds 6m, either a vertical or horizontal
support should be incorporated, or a horizontal or vertical
slip joint.
- The Easifix System is only recommended for internal use
for glass block panels up to 10m² not exceeding 3m
in height.
